Authorities say they have identified the man they suspect of dressing like a woman and robbing a Bank of America branch in Lexington on May 30th.
J’Neil Jacoby Jacobs, 25, of Columbia is suspected of donning a long black dress, colorful head cover and dark sunglasses to disguise himself in the robbery, Lexington Police said in releasing surveillance photos from the robbery as well as the suspect’s mugshot.
Jacobs is accused of threatening the bank clerk with violence if she did not hand over cash. The suspect fled the bank into a nearby wooded area with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.
Jacobs is believed to be driving a dark orange 2005 Dodge Neon with South Carolina license plate “LIA 258.”
