An 84-year-old Columbia woman was killed when a vehicle rolled over her in the driveway of her Lexington County home.
Pearlie Mae Wilbur, 84, died of blunt force injuries, Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher said Tuesday.
A vehicle rolled over Wilbur in the driveway of her home on Murrayhill Circle around 4 p.m. Monday, Fisher said. She was pronounced dead at an area hospital.
The vehicle that rolled over Wilbur was a minivan, according to Capt. Adam Myrick, spokesman for the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department.
Additional details about the incident were not available Tuesday.
“The case is categorized as a non-natural death and our work on the investigation continues,” Myrick said.
