The City of West Columbia has lifted a boil water advisory that was issued Monday.
Customers of Craigsen Lane, Lazy Pines Drive and customers in the 200, 300, 400 and 500 blocks of Hook Avenue are no longer advised to boil their water prior to drinking and cooking, according to Assistant City Administrator Brian Carter.
The water supply has been thoroughly tested, and boiling water is no longer necessary, Carter said. Customers were asked to boil water as a precaution when a water line broke Monday.
