Members of the Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity at the University of South Carolina will host a vigil in remembrance of Forest Acres police officer Greg Alia who was shot and killed by a suspect Wednesday morning at he Richland Mall.
The vigil will be held at the Phi Sigma Kappa house in the Greek Village on USC’s campus. The fraternity is inviting the public to come to help honor and remember Alia who was a USC alumnus and a brother of the fraternity.
The fraternity set up a GoFundMe page following Alia’s death to help raise money for Alia’s wife Kassy and their newborn son.
The vigil will be held Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Phi Kappa Sigma house located at 820 Mark Buyck Way.
