Richland County deputies identified one suspect Saturday arrested after a gun battle in the attempted robbery of a video game players’ store in St. Andrews.
Taveon Vogt, 22, faces charges of attempted murder, kidnapping, armed robbery and possession of a firearm during commission of a violent crime, deputies said.
He is recovering from wounds suffered during an exchange of gunfire with the owner of the store in the 2700 block of Broad River Road, deputies said.
Two more unidentified suspects are being sought, deputies said.
A second suspect initially arrested was released after deputies determined he was not connected to the robbery, Scott said.
