The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is looking for the person responsible for multiple robberies and strong armed robberies at businesses in Lexington County, the City of Cayce, West Columbia and surrounding areas.
The department on Monday released a photograph of the suspect.
According to Lexington County Sheriff James R. Metts, the suspect approaches the cashier in order to purchase an item. He grabs as much money as possible once the register is open then leaves. He also said the suspect has been violent in some instances.
Police say the suspect has worn a light blue baseball cap during several of the robberies.
