RCSD: Two injured in Thursday night shooting

A drug-related incident late Tuesday night near Blythewood left two people injured from gunshots, according to the Richland County Sheriff's Department.
Shortly after 10 p.m., at 528 Halleck Lane, one person was shot in the upper body and one was shot in the lower body when a verbal altercation escalated, according to Sgt. Curtis Wilson with RCSD. Both injuries are considered non-life-threatening.
Wilson said the incident appears to be drug-related, and both victims are being uncooperative.
Investigators continue early Friday to try to determine what occurred and who's responsible.
