A 30-year-old was arrested Friday and charged with murder in a shooting death at a Decker Boulevard club.

CD Cash was identified by witnesses, according to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department, as the suspect who shot another man multiple times in the upper body outside of Club Bananas.

Deputies responded at about 1:30 a.m. Thursday to the club, where they said a acquaintance of Cash’s was arguing with a female. Cash got involved in the argument when another man, 35-year-old Luthern Jermaine Mitchell of Columbia, tried to intervene.

According to a press release from the Richland County Sheriff’s Department, Cash then pulled out a pistol and shot Mitchell, who deputies said was not acting aggressively, multiple times.
