Six charged in Lexington County meth lab bust

A tip led Lexington County authorities to a house 275 Seleta Circle near Lexington Wednesday where they seized equipment used for making methamphetamine and arrested six people.
The three residents of the house, 59-year-old Terry Wayne Smith, Sr.,34-year-old Terry Wayne Smith, Jr., and 45-year-old Carl William Smith, 45, of 275 Seleta Circle were charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and improperly disposing of waste from a meth laboratory.
Also arrested were 19-year-old Joe Cecil Clark from Gilbert, Charles Walter Huggins, IV, from Batesburg-Leesville and 18 year-old Lakisha Rachelle Shealy from Aiken. Clark and Shealy were charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and simple possession of marijuana. Huggins was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine.
The six were being held at the Lexington County Detention Center Thursday night on bail ranging from $3,620 to $10,620 each.
