Richland County shooting sends man to hospital

Richland County authorities are investigating a shooting Saturday night that sent a man to the hospital.
The shooting occurred on the 200 block of Heron Glen Drive around 9 p.m., sheriff’s department spokesman Curtis Wilson said. The northeast Columbia neighborhood sits between Farrow Road and Clemson Road.
The victim, a male, was found shot in the upper body outside a house. He sustained what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries, Wilson said.
