A weekend shooting, possibly gang-related, according to Columbia police, left four people injured at Latimer Manor.
The incident occurred shortly after 11 p.m. Sunday on Lorick Circle, Acting Police Chief Melron Kelly said in a news release.
According to preliminary reports, four males were standing outside when several shots were fired at them. Three of the victims were shot at least twice, though injuries were not life-threatening, the new release said, while one victim is in critical condition at a local hospital.
Several unoccupied vehicles were damaged by bullets, the release said.
Investigators believe the shooting is gang-related, as the victims are documented gang members, Kelly said. The motive was not known Monday.
