The four teenage fugitives that were involved in a Newberry County manhunt last week appeared before a Family Court Judge in Abbeville County on Monday.
According to the Newberry County Sheriff's Office, all juveniles acknowledged they had charges in Tennessee and agreed to waive extradition.
Newberry County will be working with Tennessee authorities to arrange the return.
Until then, the juvenile defendants will be held in a SC Department of Juvenile Justice facility in Columbia.
The teenagers were captured Thursday afternoon in Newberry County after a manhunt began in the early morning hours. A chase ensued after a S.C. Highway Patrol trooper saw the teens in a vehicle parked at a rest stop on I-26.
The four ran into the woods and were later caught by authorities at a farm.
