RCSD: Suspect stole $5,544 worth of items from vehicle

Richland County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a suspect accused of stealing $5,544 worth of items from a vehicle.

Richland County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a suspect accused of stealing $5,544 worth of items from a vehicle.

The suspect stole personal items that belonged to two people from a vehicle sometime between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. Saturday, Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said.

The items stolen include a black and silver Coach purse, black Coach wallet, assorted makeup, Chase credit card, various credit and debit cards, identification cards, iPhone 4, iPhone 5, flash drive, eyeglasses inside a Vera Bradley case, a black Michael Kors purse, emerald ring with dimonds, and Gucci sunglasses.

The suspect was caught on video surveillance in possession of the stolen iPhones at Party Town 1 at 2324 Two Notch Road shortly after the theft was reported, Lott said.
