CPD: One injured in Monday night shooting near Shop Road

Columbia Police are investigating a shooting in the 4000 block of Plowden Road, which is off Beltline Boulevard near Shop Road, that sent one person to the hospital Monday night.
Officers responded to a call after several people reported hearing gun shots in the area.
Responding officers say they found a victim of a gunshot wound inside an apartment. Police say another person was helping the victim by applying pressure to the wound.
Police say the victim was taken to the hospital and is recovering from the gun shot.
Witnesses reported seeing multiple suspects, possibly four people, involved in the shooting. In addition, witnesses told police some of the suspects were wearing bandanas over their faces.
