Four Columbia residents charged with stealing government funds

Four Columbia residents were recently indicted on charges of stealing government funds.
U.S. Attorney Bill Nettles announced the indictments, which each carry one count and could mean up to 10 years in prison, on Thursday.
The four people charged were: Monique Aaron, 45; Carolyn Taylor, 68; Roosevelt Wilson, 66; and Hussain Omar, 55.
The cases weer investigated by agents of the Office of Inspector General and is assigned to Assistant U.S. Attorney William E. Day II of the Columbia office for prosecution.
