Chapin man charged with burglary after prescription drugs were taken from two homes

CHAPIN, SC A 31-year-old Chapin man was charged with breaking into two Lexington County homes and stealing prescription drugs, the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department said.
Scott Samuel Neal was arrested Saturday after a home on old Lexington Highway and another on Primrose Lane were burglarized. In both instances, prescription drugs, including from one of the homes 25 tablels of the anti-anxiety drug Alprazolam, were taken.
Neal was being held Tuesday at the Lexington County Detention Center on $55,000 bond.
