Deputies are looking for suspects connected with multiple car thefts that have been reported in Northeast Richland County, according to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.
Several people in the Longcreek Plantation area of Northeast Richland County were victimized between 3 and 5 a.m. Tuesday, Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said.
“Three victim’s have come forward reporting that their cars were broken into in the Windemere Neighborhood,” Lott said.
The Windemere Community Association has reported other car break-ins, but the victims have not come forward to the Sheriff’s Department, according to Lott.

Sheriff Lott said the Club Cottages Community, Longtown Estates in Longcreek Plantation and Hollyridge Community, which is off Longtown Road, had similar incidents last month.
Deputies say three additional reports of break-ins in the Northeast section of Richland County were reported overnight.
The Sheriff’s Department released video surveillance of suspects looking into cars at several homes.
Sheriff Lott said it’s important to secure your vehicle at all times, and to keep valuablees out of plain view.
