A 23-year-old man was charged with operating a methamphetamine lab when officers arrived at his Orangeburg home to serve warrants after his failure to show up for court on earlier burglary and drug charges.
Officers forced their way into the house on Hickory Hill Road in Orangeburg and found Timothy Lee Crummie allegedly trying to hide evidence, Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell said in a news release.
“This was no small operation [...] Crummie was an experienced cooker,” Ravenell said.
Ravenell posed in a photograph of evidence allegedly seized at Crummie’s home.
