A Columbia pharmacist has been arrested after he allegedly sexually assaulted a customer, officials say.
Prabir Kumar Saha, 42, was arrested on first degree criminal sexual conduct Thursday at the Decker Boulevard Rite-Aid, Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said in a statement released Sunday.
After Saha filled a prescription for the customer, the customer then went to the store’s restroom to apply the medication where Saha sexually assaulted her, Lott said.
The victim immediately left the store and reported the incident to officers.
Saha was taken to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
Lott asked that if anyone who has been a victim of Saha or knows of anyone that has been a victim to contact the sheriff’s department.
