Deputies looking for suspect after clerk robbed at gunpoint on Forest Drive

Richland County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a suspect accused of robbing a store clerk at gunpoint early Wednesday morning.
Deputies say the armed robbery happened around 6 a.m. Wednesday morning at the Corner Pantry at 5413 Forest Drive.
The suspect presented a handgun, demanded money from the store employee then fled on foot, Sgt. Curtis Wilson, a Sheriff’s Department spokesman, said.
Deputies continue to investigate.
