A Hartsville girl, placed with a foster family in Eastover by the Darlington Department of Social Services, has gone missing, Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said in a news release.
Lott said he believes 12-year-old Rashia Weller could be in danger.
The 5-foot 8-inch tall girl was last seen leaving her foster parent’s home on Sunday, August 3rd. She had been placed with this foster family ‘in early August,” Lott said.
In June, she was reported missing in Summerville, SC.
“We are concerned because of her age and that she may fall prey,” said sheriff’s department spokesman Curtis Wilson.
Weller has black hair and brown eyes and weighs about 95 pounds. When last seen, she was wearing black shorts with pink stripes, and a black and pink T-shirt.
