The South Carolina Highway Patrol is looking for information about hit and run involving a motorcycle and small pickup truck earlier this month.
Troopers say a motorcycle struck a small mid 80s to early 90s Ford Ranger around midnight on August 1 on US-1 and Beverly in Lexington County.
The driver of the truck fled the scene, according to the Highway Patrol.
Troopers say the driver of the truck is described as a white or Hispanic male, between 5’5” and 5’8”, according to the Highway Patrol.
The truck is a standard cab, white or silver in color with noticeable damage to the right rear corner. The rear taillight is damaged and possibly totally missing, and it has or had a metallic toolbox in the bed, according to the Highway Patrol.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Highway Patrol at 803-896-9621 or Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
