RCSD: More charges possible for man charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor

A man charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor has been arrested by the Richland County Sheriff’s Department Fugitive Task Force, according to Sheriff Leon Lott.

A man charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor has been arrested by the Richland County Sheriff’s Department Fugitive Task Force, according to Sheriff Leon Lott.

Lott said 30-year-old Roger Lee Seabrooks Jr., of Cayce, was arrested Thursday at his place of employment in the 2500 block of Commerce Drive in Cayce after the task force and local law enforcement received a CrimeStoppers tip.

Lott said Seabrooks forced an 11-year-old child to perform a sexual act on him at 2100 Faraway Drive on June 21.

Officials are currently investigating additional incidents that may involve Seabrooks, and additional charges could be pending, according to Lott.

Seabrooks was transported to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center following his arrest.
