Richland County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested one suspect and are trying to identify second in connection with an armed robbery that occurred last week.

LaFrank Moseley, 25, has been identified as one of the suspects accused robbing the Circle K at 3004 Broad River Road around 1:20 a.m. August 13.

Sheriff Leon Lott said Moseley and an unidentified man are accused of entering the Circle K and stealing money from the register.

The unidentified suspect told the clerk that he had a gun under his shirt and demanded money, Lott said.

The suspects stole the cash then left the business on foot, according to Lott.

“Richland County Sheriff’s Department K-9 apprehended Moseley just a short distance away on Whiteford Road,” Lott said. “He has been charged with armed robbery.”

The second suspect was last seen wearing an orange shirt, black jean, black sneakers and a white shirt on top of his head, Lott said.

Lott said the second suspect is approximately 25 years old, medium to heavy build, has a mustache and goes by the name “G.”

The suspect frequents the Colony and Bethel Bishop Apartments, Lott said.
