Two wanted in connection with Elgin car wash break-in

Elgin police are looking for two suspects accused of breaking into a car wash and stealing money from the car wash control boxes.

Police say the incident happened around 7:30 p.m. June 25 at the Elgin Car Wash located at 1101 Rose Street.

Two men cut the bars over the locks and removed money from the car wash control boxes inside the wash bays, according to the Elgin Police Department.

Police say there were other break-ins at car washes in Camden and throughout Kershaw County that happened the same night.
