Richland County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for teenagers wanted in connection with an armed robbery at a Dollar General store on Bluff Road.

The two men are accused of holding up the Dollar General at 1905 Bluff Road around midnight Friday, Lt. Curtis Wilson, a Sheriff’s Department spokesman, said.

The suspects are two black males, both around 5 feet, 5 inches tall and between 16 and 19 years of age, Wilson said.

One suspect was wearing black shorts, a black T-shirt and a bandana on his face, Wilson said.

Wilson said the other suspect was wearing white Nike Shocks, blue sweat pants, black T-shirt and white undershirt with a bandana on his face.

“They stole Newports and cash,” Wilson said. “No one was hurt, but they did present a gun.”

Wilson said the men presented a handgun and asked for an undetermined amount of cash then fled the area.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
