Three people were arrested after Kershaw Sheriff’s deputies discovered a small meth lab they were operating in a motel room.
Officers charged Michael Brass, 31; Heath Sanders, 30; and Jessica Norris, 29; with manufacturing methamphetamine.
Narcotics investigators say they went to room 18 at the Economy Inn in Elgin after receiving an anonymous tip.
Investigators spoke with Brass, Sanders and Norris once at the room, according to Sheriff Jim Matthews.

Deputies got consent to search the room and discovered what is known as a one-pot meth lab as well as ingredients used to manufacture methamphetamine, Matthews said.
Matthews said Brass has previous arrests for narcotics, simple assault, criminal domestic violence, disorderly conduct, domestic assault and third degree assault.
Sanders has previous arrests for disorderly conduct, driving under suspension, DUI, strong armed robbery and carjacking, Matthews said.
Norris, who is currently on probation for a narcotics violation in Lexington County, has previous arrests for DUI, disorderly conduct, domestic violence and narcotics, Matthews said.
All three suspects are being held at the Kershaw County Detention Center, according to Matthews.
“This is the eighth meth lab seized in Kershaw County this year compared to three labs seized in 2013,” Matthews said.
