A Florence woman has been charged in connection with making a bomb threat to destroy the offices of the Florence County Department of Social Services (DSS), according to the State Law Enforcement Division (SLED).
Jennifer Nicole Sharp, 21, has been charged with one count of bomb/threat, conspire to threat, solicits another to threat real or personal property.
Sharp was at the Florence County Department of Social Services last Wednesday for a supervised visit with her children who are in foster care, according to an incident report.
Sharp became belligerent with DSS staff, and the visitation was terminated, according to the report.
Sharp then made multiple threats to blow up the Florence County Department of Social Services building and everyone in it, the report said.
Sharp was booked at the Florence County Detention Center, according to Thom Berry, a SLED spokesman.
