Two men have been charged in the October 3 early morning armed robbery of a resident of The Woodlands of Columbia apartment complex off Bluff and Shop Roads.
Brandon Jordan, 20, and Bobby Dinkins, 19, allegedly approached brandishing a gun as the victim arrived home from the University of South Carolina around 3 am Friday. The victim’s pockets were rifled and an iPhone and cash were stolen, Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said.
Witnesses helped break the case, Lott said. Witness descriptions of the two men and the car they were driving led to the arrest of Jordan and Dinkins by Columbia police on Sunday.
The two men are being held at the Alvin S Glenn Detention Center.
