A warrant has been issued for a 17-year-old Sumter man, 5 months after he was allegedly involved in a shooting.
Sumter Police say William Jerquzes “Quez” Spann is wanted for attempted murder after allegedly shooting at one of two men walking on West Moore Street, a residential street about a mile from downtown Sumter, on June 24. No one was injured in the shooting, the police said.
Spann is also wanted on an illegal weapons charge filed by the Sumter County Sheriff’s Department in November.
Anyone with information about Spann’s whereabouts is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at (803) 436-2718 or 1-888-CRIME-SC.
