Sumter police raided two houses early Wednesday morning, seized drugs and cash and arrested two men; a third man is being sought. The three men, who live close to each other on Armstrong Street in Sumter, are related but police did not say how they are related.
The raid followed an investigation of drug dealing following neighbor complaints, the police said in a news release. Investigators allegedly seized more than 4 pounds of marijuana, 5 grams of cocaine and $4,500 in cash.
Randy Sanders, 33, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of cocaine, possession of crack cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
Sherman Sanders, 36, was charged with possession with intent to distribute.
Randy and Sherman Sanders were being held at the Lee Sumter Detention Center Wednesday night.
Clinton Sanders, 35, facing two counts of distribution of marijuana and possession with intent to distribute, was still being sought Wednesday night.
