A man caught on video surveillance stealing Xbox game consoles from a Richland County business is now being sought by police, officials say.
The suspect, who is wanted on larceny, can be seen on the video entering the GameStop, at 327 Killian Road, just after 2 p.m. on Nov. 27, Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said in a statement released Monday. The man is then spotted picking up two Xbox game consoles and walking out of the business.
The suspect is described as a black male with long sideburns and a mustache. In the video, he is wearing a white T-shirt with a white, long-sleeve thermal T-shirt and blue jeans. He is approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds, Lott said.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC. Those with information leading to an arrest may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
