A 26-year-old Neeses man was sentenced to 20 years in prison today after pleading guilty to sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl last July in Lexington County, according to the 11th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
Travis Justin Williams pleaded guilty to criminal sexual conduct with a minor in the second degree. He was sentenced by Judge William Keesley.
Williams must serve 85 percent of his sentence before he is eligible for parole and must register as a sex offender, prosecutors said.
Prosecutors say the offense happened July 11, 2006. Assistant 11th Circuit Solicitor Lawrence G. Wedekind prosecuted the case.
