MYRTLE BEACH -- Myrtle Beach police arrested a 40-year-old woman and took her 6-year-old daughter into protective custody, according to a police report.
Amy Lynn Duncan of Myrtle Beach was charged with disorderly conduct and unlawful conduct towards a child after police were called to the Golden Sand Motel about 8:15 p.m. Saturday, police said.
Witnesses told police Duncan’s daughter had been unsupervised at the motel for about a month, according to the report. Police found Duncan to be intoxicated and she did not want to cooperate with officers.
