State prison officials said they have recaptured two of the three minimum security inmates who have escaped this week.
Prison spokesman Josh Gelinas said 31-year-old Nikita Brannon was found in a home in Shelby, N.C., Friday evening. She walked away from a work release job at an Irmo KFC on Wednesday.
Authorities said 23-year-old David Edwards was arrested at a Columbia apartment Friday about 16 hours after leaving his work release job at a West Columbia poultry plant.
Prison officials were still looking for 22-year-old Patrick Frazier, who walked away from the Lower Savannah Pre-Release Center around 11:50 p.m. Thursday.
