Lexington County and Cayce law enforcement officials Tuesday charged a Gaston man in the theft of a ticket dispenser containing instant scratch-off lottery tickets from a store on U.S. 321.
Kenny Lee James, 37, also was charged with second-degree burglary. Officials said the suspect cashed some of the tickets at a convenience store in Cayce.
James is being held at the Lexington County jail, awaiting a bail hearing.
Warrants allege that on Saturday James broke a glass pane in the front door of a Food Lion at 5204 U.S. 321 in Gaston.
