A methamphetamine laboratory and three pipe bombs were seized at a home near Batesburg-Leesville, Lexington County deputies said.
Shannon Crapps,39, faces charges of manufacturing and possessing the drug after the operation on South Fork Road was shut down Tuesday, deputies said.
The laboratory was closed after deputies received a tip about it and smelled odors and said they saw items used to make the illegal narcotic. A gram of it also was found, deputies said.
Parts of rural Lexington County are sometimes called the "Meth Triangle."
