Police are looking for Terrance Lopez Mayo, 17, of West Columbia.
Police say Mayo is a suspect in a case where a man forced his way into a residence on North Avenue around 3:20 a.m. on June 30, where he pistol whipped and robbed the occupant.
Police say Mayo then fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle -- that has since been recovered.
Mayo is charged with assault and battery, criminal conspiracy, armed robbery with a deadly weapon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, and one count of kidnapping.

"This suspect has shown that he can be extremely dangerous. We are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Mr. Mayo. He is still believed to be in the West Columbia/Cayce area. We urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to notify the West Columbia Police Department or Crimestoppers,” Chief Tyndall said.
Malik Amanda Grant, 24, of West Columbia was charged on Friday, July 9, in connection with this case. Grant is charged with assault and battery, criminal conspiracy, armed robbery with a deadly weapon, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime. She is currently being held at the Lexington County Detention Center under an $80,000 bond.
