A minimum security inmate who walked away from Walden Correctional Institution on Sunday in Columbia was captured Monday evening.
Larry Coles Jr., 27, was captured by SLED, the U.S. Marshals and the S.C. Department of Corrections without incident in Williamsburg County, according to a SLED spokesman.
Coles walked away from the unfenced minimum-security institution at 4340 Broad River Road about 5 a.m. Sunday.
