The Irmo Police Department has charged an Irmo man in the death of his estranged wife, who had been missing since Monday.
Police on Saturday charged Stacy Edward Wade, 37, with the murder of Charnel Redden, 25. Wade is being held at the Lexington County Detention Center and is awaiting a bond hearing in General Sessions court.
Redden had been missing from 128 Fallsbury Road. Irmo Police and SLED agents located her body Saturday afternoon in a construction site near River Drive, the Irmo Police Department said early this evening.
Police have concluded from evidence gathered throughout the week that Wade killed Redden sometime between Monday night and Tuesday morning during a domestic argument. He is believed to have killed Redden in his New Friarsgate home before taking her body to the location off River Drive.
