Lexington County authorities are appealing to the public for help in locating a 38-year-old West Columbia woman reported missing by her father on Tuesday.
Amy Nicole Hill was last seen at the home of her estranged boyfriend, James Jason Kirkland, on Old Wire Road, the sheriff’s department said.
Kirkland told investigators that when he left for work on March 16, Hill was at his house but gone when he returned later in the day. Her purse and backpack were also gone, he said.
Relatives told authorities that Hill takes medication that was left behind and that it’s not like her to stay out of touch for so long.
Hill is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 125 pounds. She has red hair and green eyes and a porpoise tattoo on her left thigh. She was last seen wearing a T-shirt that said “Everyone Loves Irish People.”
Anyone with information concerning Hill or her whereabouts is asked to call the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department at (803) 785-8230 or CrimeStoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
