Sean Kareem Osbourne, 28, was taken into custody without incident on Beltline Boulevard around 1 p.m., Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said in a press release. A citizen tip led authorities to Osbourne, Lott added.
Osbourne was wanted in the shooting death of a Camden resident March 22, 2005. Police, responding to an early morning report of gunfire, found a body on the side of the road on the 1600 block of Lee Street,about a mile from downtown Camden. The victim had died as a result of wounds to the upper body.
Osbourne has been turned over to Camden Police.
