Batesburg-Leesville man gets 26 years in prison for sexually assaulting minor

A Batesburg-Leesville man has been sentenced to 26 years in prison, after a jury found him guilty of criminal sexual conduct with a minor, according to the 11th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.

Glenn Edwin Vanover, 49, was convicted Aug. 29 of assaulting a child several times between January 2004 and December 2007. The assaults occurred when the child was between the ages of 8 and 11.
