James Walker Brown III is charged with burglary, petit larceny and malicious injury to personal property. He’s accused of breaking a glass panel on a door at a Haymarket Road home on Christmas and rummaging through the kitchen.
A burglar saw him Wednesday on Decker Boulevard and took him into custody.
The man ate food, turned on TVs and one of the home’s showers. Two residents were home at the time, and hit inside while the suspect was there. A third resident returned to the home a short time later, and the suspect ran away.
The suspect caused an estimated $550 in damages to the home. If you know anything about Brown’s whereabouts, contact Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC or www.sccrimestoppers.com
