An 18-year-old man was arrested Wednesday in connection with two shootings last month.
Jashawn Oshea Livingston was charged with attempted murder and was arrested Wednesday, Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said in a news release Thursday.
In the first incident, Lott said the suspect fired shots at a person just after 1 p.m. May 8 in the 300 block of Ferrell Drive. No one was injured.
Later that evening, just after 10 p.m., shots were fired into a residence where a mother and two of her children were, though no one was injured, Lott said, adding Livingston was the triggerman in both incidents.
The shootings were gang-related, he added.
Anyone with information about the other suspects should call CrimeStoppers, (888) CRIME-SC.
