Local authorities are looking for a Richland County couple who they say used a stolen ID to buy several high priced vehicles in Richland County and in Louisiana and North Carolina.
Acting on a search warrant, the home of Dwayne Eigner, 44, and Tyease Mosley, 39, on Duck Pond Road in Wildewood, was searched Friday morning. Several laptops and other computers were seized, Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said in a news release.
The couple is accused of using a stolen identity on July 26 to purchase an Audi Q7 from an Audi dealership on Two Notch Road. The same ID was used in Louisiana and North Carolina to purchase a Maserati Ghibi, Chevy Corvette and Ford F450, sheriff spokeswoman Brittany Jackamonis said.
Eigner and Mosley may face additional charges after their computers are examined, Lott said.
