Richland 1 kicks off Midlands public high school graduation ceremonies

Richland 1 kicked off the flurry of public high school graduation ceremonies that will happen over the next couple weeks in the Midlands. Wednesday, A.C. Flora (shown here), Eau Claire and Keenan held ceremonies, with other Richland 1 high schools finishing Thursday and Friday.

Here, a list of upcoming ceremonies for Midlands public high schools, along with estimated graduate numbers provided by the districts.

Richland 1

Graduation dates: Thursday, Friday for remaining schools

Total graduates in district: 1,561

Largest graduating class: A.C. Flora, 263

Richland 2

Graduation dates: June 6 (Richland Northeast, Ridge View), June 7 (Spring Valley, Blythewood, Westwood)

Total graduates in district: 1,700 (estimate)

Largest graduating class: Spring Valley, 418 (estimate)

Lexington 1

Graduation dates: Saturday (Lexington, Pelion, White Knoll), Sunday (Gilbert, River Bluff)

Total graduates in district: 1,4 88 (estimate)

Largest graduating class: Lexington High, 553 (estimate)

Lexington 2

Graduation date: June 4

Total graduates in district: 497 (estimate)

Largest graduating class: Airport, 287 (estimate)

Lexington 3

Graduation date: Friday

Total graduates (Batesburg-Leesville): 107

Lexington 4

Graduation date: June 6

Total graduates (Swansea): 179

Lexington-Richland 5

Graduation date: June 5
