Moncrief Army Community Hospital today opened a $10 million Specialty Care and Women’s Health Clinic.

The new facility combines gynecology, surgery and dermatology clinics to create a one stop shop for women.

The facility will provide care for women such as breast care, including mammograms, ultrasounds and stereotactic breast biopsies.

The women’s health clinic is outfitted with the state of the art equipment and furnishings such as exam tables that will take the patient’s weight, hands free faucets and space saving workstations and baby changing stations.

“Our providers and administrative staff understand we are charged with providing the best healthcare our soldiers, families and veterans deserve and expect,” Col. Mark Higdon, Moncrief’s commander said. “This multi-million dollar clinic shows our dedication to ensuring our patients receive that care.”
