One winner of $425.3 million Powerball jackpot

A Powerball ticket worth an estimated $425.3 million was sold in California, according to lottery officials.

The winning numbers were 1, 17, 35, 49, 54 and the Powerball of 34.

A ticket worth $2 million was sold in Texas.

Lightning did not strike twice for South Carolina, where in September, a winning Powerball jackpot ticket worth $399.4 million was sold at a Lexington convenience store.

However, at least one ticket worth $1 million was sold in South Carolina, according to officials, as well as in Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Louisiana, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and West Virginia.
