According to April filings with the S.C. Ethics Commission, Republican Molly Spearman has raised the most money of all the candidates with reports available for the election cycle.

According to April filings with the S.C. Ethics Commission, Republican Molly Spearman has raised the most money of all the candidates with reports available for the election cycle. Spearman raised $90,521, all from campaign contributions with no loans. Of Spearman’s donations:

$24,640 came from educators $18,607 came from retirees, a large portion of whom are retired educators, Spearman said $925 came from principals $500 came from a superintendent $300 came from a professor $100 came from a student
